    Cartersville High School Prom 2004

You guys, seriously, one word. Amazing.

After getting out of school at 11:30a, Amanda and Rachel went with me to pick up my tux. Yes, it was there. Yes, it fit. Oh yeah, and NO I didn't cuss the woman out. (She wasn't there.) After that I got highlights put back in my hair. I now have blonde, brown, and dark red hair. It's pimp. Look close to see the red.

Fasten your seat belts guess who's in charge?

Starting out my mom and her bf came with me over to Amanda's to take pictures with her parents and stuff at Amanda's house. After all that was finished we all met at 4p at the Chamber of Commerce because Tara's mom works there and it was a great central location to meet at. Amanda, her parents, and I all kept to ourselves pretty much until we started to leave the Chamber. Then, we had to all get together infront of the limo and take pictures. I love it because it's like the paparatzi. I think Amanda's dad got some great pictures from that, so I'll try to get those and post them soon, along with my others. Finally, after we took a million and one pictures Whitney and her date decided that they had to go to Moon River to take pictures too. Amanda and I got fed up so we just got in the limo and claimed out spots. (BUT MICHAEL, IT'S OUR LIM-O!) After about fifteen minutes of sitting there, everyone else FINALLY piled in. This was at about 5:30p.

All together there were 18 of us in a 16 person limo. Strech Navigator....OH YEAH, it was pimp! Let's see if I can list all the people. Amanda, myself, Tara, Josh, Elizabeth, Tommy, Whitney, "guy", Ben, Randi, Angie, Randy, Tina, "guy", Patrick, Stacy, David, and Sarah. Yup. Crazy bunch of fools up in tha heezy.

We just had to eat, so we stopped at Longhorns in Cartersville and all 18 of us sat down for a good while and ate. At about 5:45-7something. After we finished, we piled back into the limo and headed for Cobb Galleria (where Prom is). The entire time we were standing at the Chamber of Commerce though, the limo driver was asking parents for directions to get there. We weren't too trusting of his sense of direction after that. Oh, but wait, he also got us lost on the way to Cobb Galleria. Yeah, not too sure how that can happen, but it did. We went down 75 yall, it's not that difficult. After we got to Atlanta, and Amanda and I were the only ones to realise it, we called her dad and he told us where we needed to go to get there. Finally after going around the same hotel parking lot twice and getting lost in a parking deck, we FINALLY get to Prom!

    The Entrance.

Yes, we were about two hours late. If we hadn't ate and gotten lost we would've been about 15minutes late yall, seriously. We all get out of our limo, the driver was being a real putz about the whole thing with opening/closing the door of the limo for us. Not funny at all. We just stand there at the entrance, all 18 of us. Just looking at Cobb Galleria. Yeah, finally one of us says, "Are we going in or not?" We all hit the door after that. Walking in was great, except there was nearly or more than 100 stairs to walk up, the escaltor was on, but the big/scary/weird security guard guys were like, "Yall can't use that escalator, you have to use the stairs.... Blah-blah-blah." Amanda and I got so pissed because everyone was blatenly ignoring these guys and heading for the escalator until finally, Amanda yelled at them. We hiked up the stairs, only to be greeted by some PTA mothers on prozac. Amanda and I were checking in and Amanda had to tell the woman at least 4 times her first and last name. Then, when we were registering for senior walk, omg, it was the same way. Dumbass people. CALM DOWN AMANDA! lmao.

    The Prom.

After checking in, we immediately saw Ms. Couch! Oh yeah, looking beautiful, as normal. Then, we saw Brandi and Derrick. They looked SO cute together. Brandi's dress was like "WOAH" but in a good way. Amanda and I walked in, trying to get away from our group and after walking around the ballroom a few times, we put our stuff down and shook our asses on the dance floor. It was SO great. I loved every minute of it. We took a good many picutres, as well as got a keychain of Amanda's and my picture. Along with perfessionals.

What really meant a lot to me.

Amanda and I were trading out dancing with people, and Jenny came up and she and I were talking. Then, I was like, "Jenny, you wanna dance the next slow song?" (because Jenny can't dance fast songs, hey, I'm, just bein honest.) Of course she said yeah and the song hadn't came on yet, but we were making our way to the dance floor and all the sudden, it happened. S Club 7 came on. Yes, it did. I really just felt like it was symbolic of Jenny's and my relationship. "Never Had a Dream Come True" started playing and I was like, "Oh my gosh. I can't believe it." She's like, "Yeah, this is your favourite group, like, ever." Jenny and I danced the whole song, and we just talked about how much we were gonna miss each other and how much we've enjoyed being at school together and being great friends and how graduation is so close. I just feel like fate wanted that song to come on at that time. Jenny, you're the best. Thanks for always being a great friend and our friendship has always been the best.

    The Prom (cont.)

DOUBLE D was there! As well as dateless Jamie. Brown tooth gleaming in the moonlight. I swear if she made one more face at me at Senior Walk, I wanted to hit that bitch and knock that brown tooth out of her mouth. Stupid bitch. I swear, she didn't even deserve to be at Prom. She's not a real CHS student, she's just a loser from Cass who couldn't handle everyone harassing her there so she had to come try to screw up Cartersville High with her drama and her brown too. Enough of that though, yall, I loved Prom.

    Senior walk.

It seemed so much more organised this year than it was last year. I don't think Ms. Enis had it together last year because she was a lazy person. Ms. Couch did the dang thang. Darla finally saw that Amanda and I officially went to Prom together and she was PISSED. Just for spite, Amanda goes, "Hey Darla!" Darla just walked right past her. lol During Senior walk, we loved it. When they called our names, even though they said my middle name wrong, I'm still a Senior and I'm so hp about tonight it's unbelievable. The whole time after we went into the ballroom and were standing in line, the brown tooth whore tried to stare us down. Amanda wanted to beat the hell out of her. YeAH! After All the names were called...

    Mr. and Ms. CHS:

The night wouldn't have been complete without Mr.and Ms. CHS. The winners are:

    Mr. CHS: Shannon B. (ick)
Ms. CHS: Megan T. I'm so proud of her.

The last dance? Wait, was there?

Apparently, there wasn't a last dance because as soon as Mr. and Ms. CHS were announced they were all like, "Thanks for coming the the CHS 2004 Prom, have a great night." Yep, it was over. Amanda and I grabbed our stuff and started for the door. After getting outside to the entrance area and waiting forever, the limo finally came and we started home.

    The long(short) ride home.

When we got in the limo and started for home, Tara was being real bitchy about someone other than herself sitting in the back, but we won't speak of that. We all pulled out our "sparkling grape juice" lmao and made a toast. It was great just being together with friends for this finale to our high school experience. Amanda fell asleep on me on the way home, but was woke up by the time we got on 41 back in Cartersville.

The End...WAIT, no it isn't...Time for some redneck stuff yall.

We got to the Cartersville exit, got off, and the limo driver was like, "Yall still have 30 minutes left, what do yall wanna do?" Everyone, except Amanda and I yelled, "LET'S GO TO WAL-MART!" Yes, yall, they said Wal-Mart. By this time, Amanda had woke back up and was like, "Where are we going?" I told her and she was like WTF? We got to Wal-Mart at about 12:15a all of us got out and was taking picutres and laughing and then we all walked in. Everyone was looking at us like we were freaking retarded. Which, yes, they were right. We are. After spending a good 20mintes in Wal-Mart, we finally went back outside and got in the limo and headed back for the Chamber of Commerce.

    The End...for real this time.

We got there(The Chamber), and everyone thought Amanda and I were going to her house and then going to Tara's, but um, well... See what happened was... We didn't. We ran over to her house then went to the Awful Waffle(Waffle House). We saw Ryan and his flavour of the week there, and Ashley and Darley. We had a great time there just chillin... Eatin hash browns. lol. We left and I took Amanda back home and that was it. The end of Prom. It was great. I loved it all. I got home about 2a, and it was awesome. I loved every minute of it.
